Making our growing cities more livable is one of the major challenges currently facing society. Rapid advances in digital technologies have brought the capacity to observe urban activity in today’s “smart cities”. Smart cities are built on sustainable communicating infrastructures designed to provide citizens with greater comfort and convenience and improve efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts.
CEA Tech is helping shape tomorrow’s smart cities by developing a variety of sensors (noise, pollution, etc.), data analysis and processing (Big Data), and applications for more efficient city planning and better quality of life in both public spaces and private homes.
A smart Li-Fi orchestrator was presented at CES 2020. It automatically detects any interference between lamps and optimizes the data transmission rates for each device on the network.
